๐Ÿงช Private beta โ€” GentleTasks is being tested by a small group of families. Things will change, and sometimes break.
For families of kids with ADHD & autism

Gentle routines. Calmer days. Patterns you can see.

GentleTasks turns your child's morning, afternoon and evening into a picture-based routine they can follow on their own โ€” with stars, a paint bucket of points and rewards they choose. You get a simple log of how each day went, and you choose what to share with their teacher.

Child Mode: a morning routine with big picture buttons for Brush Teeth, Get Dressed and Pack Bag, a paint bucket of points and a star jar
The parent's dashboard: quick buttons to log an incident, a task, a bonus point, wake-up and bedtime, a medication dose, an encouragement, the school day and when medication wore off

Made-up names and data.

One app, three views

Everyone sees only what they need โ€” and only what you choose to share.

Child Mode routine screen

Child Mode

Big pictures, a timer when it helps, and praise first. Your child taps through their routine on a family tablet or their own device.

  • Stars, points and themes they unlock themselves
  • "My Day" story of what went well โ€” never a list of what went wrong
  • Every finished task waits for a grown-up's OK
Parent dashboard

Parent view

Set up routines, approve tasks, and keep a quick log โ€” behaviour, sleep, medication doses and school days โ€” in a few taps.

  • Trends that show patterns over weeks, with "a pattern, not proof" honesty
  • Co-parents and grandparents with just the access you choose
  • Works offline and catches up when you're back online
A teacher's view of one student's day

Classroom for teachers

Invite your child's teacher with a one-time code. They see only their student's first name and the things you switch on, and can share how the school day went.

  • A quick rating of the day, notes back and forth, stars for good moments
  • You can change what they see โ€” or end access โ€” any time

Working with a clinic? A view for your child's doctor is in development and isn't part of the beta yet.

About the beta

  • GentleTasks is free while it's in beta, and it's invitation-only: new families are approved one at a time.
  • Features will change, and there will be bugs. Please keep your own copy of anything important (the app can download all your data).
  • Found a problem or have an idea? Use Report a problem in the app, or email us.

Not medical advice

GentleTasks is a tool for routines and record-keeping. It doesn't diagnose or treat anything, and it isn't for emergencies โ€” if your child needs urgent help, call your local emergency number. Always follow your own doctor's and pharmacist's advice.
